BOO! Hope you've had a wonderful week!
Okay . . . my sister made the 1 gallon Frankenstein paint cans, a few weeks ago (see below), right? Well . . . look at what I came up with . . . I used vegetable cans! I used ZipDry, to glue the eyes, to make sure they'd stay in place. Waiting for the glue to dry was fun . . . kinda like watching paint dry! :o)
We have one of those can openers that won't pop a balloon (oh come on, you've seen the infomercial), so using the lid is safe. If you don't have one of these, I highly recommend getting one! We put some candy it them and are going to give them to the boys teachers.
I cut out some 1.25" spiders and glued them on a Nestabilities scalloped circle. I used a clear gel pin, to simulate the spider's web. Made 38 of these 'lil guys . . . all made with love . . . right? :o) Terry, my husband, even cut out some of the Nestabilities circles for me! Made it go alot quicker! What a guy!
Tomorrow is a busy day! We have a Preschool Halloween parade @ 10:00A and then the Kindergarten Halloween parade @ 1:30P! Should be a fun day though!
Hope you, and your family, have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Wedding Cards
Hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
My Dad and StepMother are celebrating their first anniversary today! Here is the anniversary card I made for them. This is my favorite picture of them, from their wedding day. Congratulations LaDonna & Dad!!
A friend of mine asked me to come up with a wedding card for her. This is what I came up with . . . I purchased the "Love Forever" embossed paper at Joann's and the SU (Stampin' Up!) So Swirly jumbo roller with Vanilla ink on the vellum (on the bottom of the vellum only).
I must have a thing for vellum, when it comes to wedding cards, huh?!
Thanks for stopping by the craft room!

Baby Boy Card
Hope you've had a wonderful week! Our youngest nephew celebrated his sixth birthday today! Happy Birthday Brent!
I made this card for a "couples" baby shower, that we went to on Sunday. I "scraplifted" the layout of this card off one of the cards on SplitCoastStampers website, created by Jeannie1862. Can I tell you how excited my husband was, going to a "couples" baby shower! :o) Honestly, he was a pretty good sport about it.
Anyway . . . the new Mom was opening up all the gifts, up until they got to our gift. Then she had the new Dad open a few of the gifts. Of course I was thinking to myself, "Oh great, he's not going to appreciate this card as much as she would . . ." Boy, was I wrong! He was really spending time looking at it, flipped it over and I noticed that I made it! He started ranting and raving about how pretty it was! He immediately started passing our card around, I think it got passed around before our gift did! :o) We later found out that he works for a stamping manufacturer out in California! What are the odds?!
It was the first baby shower, for our boys . . . they had a great time eating cake and drinking sherbet punch. You know how relieved Terry, my husband, was when there were no baby shower games too?! :o)
Thank you Jeannie1862, for the inspiration! Here's a link to her original card, that I scraplifted. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1064228?cat=10590 If you're not a member of SplitCoastStampers, I'd highly recommend it! You can get some great ideas there, when you're having a "creative block"!
Hope you have a crafty week! Thanks for stopping by the craft room!

October Promotion Winner!
Thank you to everyone who entered our October promotion. Our October promotion winner is (drum roll please) . . . . Karol Harrison! She's won the Halloween "Boo to You" Cuttlebug embossing folder!
Be sure to sign up to get on our e-mail list . . . this is how we announce our monthly promotions! Our November promotion will be announced soon.
I just had to share with you what I've done this weekend! I've had such a "crafting" weekend! My sister sent me an e-mail on Thursday, to a link on Martha Stewart's website . . . she stated in her e-mail, ". . . aren't these cute? Do you think we could make them?" Me turn down a night to craft? NO WAY! I told her of course and she came over last night and we created some Halloween candy coffins! Didn't they turn out cute? Martha had all black coffins, with a "Beware" sticker on them. Her coffins were cute . . . but the coffins Theresa and I made turned out pretty darn cute!
Today, was our Cricuteer crop @ Jenny's house. Her husband cooked an absolute fabulous appetizer and meal for all of us! Theresa, my sister, joined us too! We went up to a local scrapbook store, where they were having a free Make & Take . . . we thought it'd be a good break in the day. This was Theresa's first official crop AND Make & Take. While we were there, Theresa saw a Frankenstein paint tin . . . she brought everything for it and when we came back, she started makin' her Frankenstein . . . she what she created? Isn't it the cutest? She wanted to create some Christmas candy boxes too . . . so I drew up a template for her and she went to town on these too! We've come to the conclusion that she LOVES glitter . . . I have to admit, the stickers were cute . . . but she make 'em down right gorgeous with "glitter bling" added.
Laurie showed us this glitter stuff from www.PKGlitz.com and oh my gosh . . . if you like glitter, be sure to check it out! There is this sticky paper, that you place your brass embossing plates on, and then you add glitter. When you pull the brass plate off, it leaves the glitter on there very neatly and then you add even MORE glitter (to make the whole sheet of paper not sticky)! It's a must, for you "glitter bling girls"!
Here are some other pictures, of all the Cricuteers hard at work!
Jenny and her oldest daughter, Samantha (below left) - Cyndi and Theresa (below top/right) - Laurie and oldest daughter, Claire (below bottom/right). Guess who the non-Cricuteer is?!
Again, congrats and enjoy Karol!

CKC-KC
Okay, my friends were calling me a nerd this weekend @ Creating Keepsakes Convention . . . but I have my reasons! Well . . . we started our CKC experience on Thursday afternoon, with the afternoon crop. Believe it or not, we did get alot of crafting done (around all of our "girl talk").
As you may know, I am an avid Scrapbook Memories fan (I DVR it everyday). I do this because of the ideas I get when watching it. On Friday, it was "class" day in the morning and vendor fare in the afternoon for most of us. I got a bit teary-eyed on the way to the convention; thinking about how if my Mom (who passed away in 2004) was still here, I knew she would have been there with us. So although I was excited about the classes I was taking, I was a bit solemn as I walked up to the convention hall. Well . . . I had a smile on my face soon! There, once we walked in the door, was Stacy Croninger (Editor-in-Chief of Paper Crafts Magazine)! Stacy guest-hosts sometimes with Beth and Julie, on Scrapbook Memories. I was absolutely star struck! I asked for her autograph and then a friend took a picture of us! My Mom used to say that "everything happens for a reason". I can't help but think that my Mom had a little hand in my meeting Stacy, to help put the smile back on my face. :o)
In the classes I took, I made a chipboard accordion book , six cards, and cardstock accordion book. The two accordion classes were my favorite. I didn't notice the trend I had with accordion books, until I got my class schedule back. Luckily they were/are very cute and on placed on my little craft shelf!
Us gals had a blast attending classes, cropping, and of course . . . shopping! I will definitely be attending CKC again next year!
Have a wonderful week!

Welcome Baby Girl
We have a new neighbor across the street . . . one with 10 little fingers & toes . . . Caroline. Let their sleepless nights begin! :o) I found this template on the Stampin' Up website and couldn't pass up the chance to make a little girl card! I just thought it was just so darn cute. If you have a Fiskars circle punch, it'd go alot easier and quicker!
If you'd like the template, e-mail me at pmfullbright@MyCraftCottage.net and I'll send the .pdf template to you.
I recently signed up to be a Stampin' Up Demonstrator! I have found that I combine the Stampin' Up and ProvoCraft products so often, that I've decide to sell both! Be sure to check my Stampin' Up calendar, for upcoming events and classes @ www.peggyfullbright.stampinup.net!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Talk to 'ya on Tuesday!
